O Arquipélago das Amnésias - Jorge Tolentino

In a total of approximately ten years, he held several government positions.
He was awarded the Medal of Distinguished Service, 1st Class (Cape Verde) and the Order of Naval Merit, Grand Officer Grade (Brazil).
While seemingly fragmented or diffuse, the texts included in this book actually reflect a quest to understand Cape Verde and the world.
Sometimes these are texts prepared for conferences or contexts of equivalent formality or refinement, sometimes they are reflections on the presentation of works by other authors, here and there they take the form of critical approaches to areas of sovereignty in which the author had responsibilities as a government official (Foreign Affairs, National Defense), and often they are records, within the framework of the exercise of citizenship, about facts or omissions of and in the Republic, as well as about one or another issue under debate in society.
